“Need to inspect the room prior to releasing. Food in the fridge and trash. No apologies from the staff when we turned over the leftovers from the room. We stay a couple of nights every year here and noticed that thing’s have been neglected.”

“1. There was trash everywhere. We were there three nights and the trash wasn’t picked up in common areas… condiment packets squeezed out everywhere. 2. Amenities listed on Expedia and the resort website are not available. 3. Pool is advertised but covered with renovations and dirt. 4. Renovations are being done in one section. You never saw any workers. Guests have to walk through the section with open tiles with hanging wires and the smell of mold. 5. First room had no lightbulbs… second room...

“The staff incredibly friendly. Saw one the maids go out of her way to help a senior citizen. The restaurants also very friendly but seemed to be understaffed for breakfast. Otherwise nice place to stay.”

“I am not usually one to review so this is not what I usually do. The staff were very nice but it all went down hill when we got to the room. The floor was not swept/ there was dirt on the carpet. There were beard hair trimmings behind the faucet in the bathroom. Then there were blood stains on our covers. The room smelled musty and never went away through our entire stay. I heard other guest complain about this as well. All in all I get what I paid for but my wife was less than pleased and...

“Good location for WVU baseball games. That being said… Room was not clean. There was a contact lens In the sink. Washcloth was brown. Shampoo bottle was used. The halls absolutely reeked of marijuana. Wasn’t easy to get out of the hotel due to traffic.”

“Clean room and very friendly staff. A great cheaper option to spend a night or two when necessary. The hotel is definitely a bit dated and could use some renovations, but overall we would definitely stay here again!”

“We stayed as we were driving through on a long roadtrip. It was perfect for us with our small kids. They even provided a rollaway bed for our youngest. The staff were friendly, property felt safe, and breakfast was nice. The options provided for breakfast were perfect for grabbing and taking on the go so we could get back on the road (breakfast sandwiches, yogurts, etc.). Would stay again!”

“If you are visiting Kendrick Family Ballpark, this is the ideal place to stay. It is directly across the street. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Though breakfast is not included, the in-lobby Starbucks provides more than enough options for breakfast. The only negative, the rooms do not have microwaves.”

“The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, the room smelled like wet dog and everything in the room was covered with dust. Also, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so you can't see in the mirror after showering.”

“Staff was great hotel was excellently maintained food was great. The only complaint I have was parking was a pain. The garage was so far from the front desk (opposite sides of the huge property)”
